I call mercy! I am just going to do a mass post about our July and eventually August. Life has been incredibly crazy and I am hoping that after school starts, I will be able to take a little time to get caught up on everything!
Vaughn was put in as the Young Men's president in our ward and was in charge of a high adventure campout for the scouts in our ward. He was super nervous about it. It was a trail loop that went 18 miles. He decided that Max would love to be outdoors and took him with him.
We spent a lot of time at the drive in movies in July. We took the kids to every possible movie!
I was behind on laundry, so Tays had to wear one of Sam's shirts. He looked so adorable in it!
Sleeping Taysom. I just can't get enough!
Sam ran up to our neighbors house and just started running through their sprinklers. She had quite a blast up there by herself. When I saw her I walked up there to get her and then instead of putting an end to her fun time, just took pictures and let her do it. Eh, why not?
Vaughn had to run into Costco and we didn't want to drag all four kids in, so I drove the kids down to the park in the canyon. They wanted to get out and see the waterfall, so I decided, eh, why not?
Lots of nights hanging out in the backyard eating popsicles.
More sleeping Taysom
While Vaughn was on his high adventure, the kids and I went down to Utah. I went to a concert at the Conference Center with My mom, Aunt Kaye and Malita and we had amazing seats! We were within arms length from the first presidency of our church! It was so cool!
Our Prophet, Thomas S. Monson
When he saw his counselor, we heard him say, "Oh hello, Dieter!" It was so great to hear his happy voice. They chatted for awhile and it was so neat to see them up close and personal!
President Dieter F. Uchtdorf
Me, Aunt Kaye, My mom and Malita
We had our Linkenhoker family reunion at Bear Lake and the kids had a great time playing in the lake. The weather was cloudy and windy, but the water really wasn't that cold, so we were there for quite a while.
All six Linkenhoker grandkids, busy playing in the muddy sand.
There is a guy that lives in a house down the road from the cabin we rented and he drives this old car around. It was pretty neat and my kids were excited to see a car that had to be started like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! The neighbor was so great and took the kids and my brother and dad for a ride!
He reminded me of my Grandpa Bingham. Maybe just because he wore coverall, just like my grandpa. Either way, he was a nice guy and we enjoyed getting to know him a little bit!
Tays is the only one that didn't get a ride. He looked on with envy!
Batman and Spider Man. These two have had quite the summer with their imaginations!
Drew's teeth are just coming in like weeds!
While at my mom's the kids loved playing on the slip n'slide! It wasn't much of a hill, but they had a blast anyway!
Tays was so cute. He just crawled right into the water and would just sit there. He LOVES the water!
More of Tays sleeping!
We went out to dinner with some of the Hixson family. The kids enjoyed seeing their cousins and playing for a bit!
My niece, Jessica, and I took my kids and a couple of my nephews to a splash park in Fox Borough. They had so much fun. Eventually, one of my sister in-laws showed up and my kids had fun running around with them too!
Sam taking a time out from running around!
We had our annual 24th of July festivities in Bountiful! Sam at the parade!
Jessica and Taysom at the fireworks.
I was mowing our neighbors lawn and I got stung by a stupid wasp! I haven't ever been stung before, and man, it hurt!
I was complaining about solicitors and Drew made this sign for the front door! He cracks me up!
I am sad that I have missed so much, but at this point, I think I have covered at least most of the highlights. September will be better!
