Tays & Mace

Taysom is so cute with this little stool. It has become his little table. He likes to eat his meals and snacks here! I probably shouldn't let him do it, but it is just too cute that I let him get away with it. It might also be that he is the youngest and probably gets away with more!

Tays LOVES to vacuum! He cracks me up how he just gives it his all!

Excuse the mess, but we've been soo busy lately. 

These two are so funny when the play together! I love to hear them laugh and play!

Easter 2014

Happy Easter everyone! We had a fun filled weekend with my  mom and Malita! I am so happy my mom could be here with us!!

Friday we had an egg hunt over at a friends house!

Then Friday night we dyed Easter eggs!

It seriously wore Mason out!

Finally, today was Easter! The kids were so excited to get home from church to see what the Easter Bunny brought them!

We could not get Tays to stand next to the other kids, so this is what we ended up with and I will take what I can get!!

Oh these two are trouble!!

And of course anytime we try to take pictures there is crying and somebody ends up on the floor!

But it didn't last long and then there were off to find the eggs!

Sammie was so excited to find the Gold egg! 

We hope you all had a blessed and happy Easter! We are so grateful for our Savior and for the Atonement. I saw this video on Facebook and it was truly awesome, if you haven't seen it, I recommend you taking a few minutes to watch it!

Spring Cleaning

We have been so busy lately and our yard has paid the price! It has been so neglected! Yesterday, we finally buckled down and put some time in it. Most the kids were glad to help, others it was like pulling teeth (hahahah, see Mason's post!)

We weeded the garden, thatched the front and back yards, raked said yards, then Vaughn aerated them. It was a lot of work and the machines were rented so we were on a time crunch. It was a busy couple of hours! But we were successful! Hopefully, the lawn will start to look better in the next week or so!

Whoops!

Last week Drew and Mason were playing...instead of cleaning.

Mason was the dog and Drew was the owner. 

Mason had a "leash" (a bath robe belt) in his mouth and Drew yanked the "leash" to make Mason "come". 

One tooth was getting close to coming out, one tooth was a little loose. . . and the last tooth was not even close to coming out!

Vaughn saw the blood and saw what looked like two missing teeth. It wasn't until I walked in with a little tooth that Vaughn realized that it was indeed THREE teeth that had been YANKED out of his mouth! Poor kid. There were a lot of tears and blood over this! 

Jerome - The Windy City

Yesterday, we had quite the storm "blow" in!

The play set was rocking in the wind! I thought for sure it was going to tip over!

Notice Taysom's swing?! This was taken while it was rocking back. 

This is how far it moved the play set! 

I was inside and just happened to see the ladder and rock wall break off the swing set. After that broke off, it started moving backwards and tipping a lot more.

We called our neighbors behind us and told them we were really sorry if our play set ended up in their backyard. He laughed and said that he has a "No Return" policy for things that end up in his yard! I'm sure his sons would just love to have a broken play set! I guess a broken one is better than not having one at all!

First he cleaned the carpet...

Then he cleaned the ball...

Then he cleaned the wall.

Hope this love of cleaning lasts for a long, long time!

He has us laughing with his funny expressions and jibber jabber!

Hopefully, he'll pick up the talking faster than Sammie did!

The other day I gave him a bowl of pretzels and when I came out of the kitchen I found him here. Eating pretzels and looking at some of our wedding pictures. Such a cutie!
